CBD is a chemical that is found in Marijuana plants.  CBD naturally does not contain THC, which is the active ingredient in Marijuana that makes you high. CBD can be used in oil in capsules, oil bases for vaporizers, tinctures, food items, and beauty products such as bath bombs or lotions. CBD is not intoxicating or psychoactive. Proponents of CBD oil and other CBD products claim that it can be used to treat conditions such as chronic pain, inflammation, migranes, epilepsy, autoimmune diseases, depression, and anxiety. Right now the only CBD\u00a0product approved by the Food and Drug Administration is a prescription oil called Epidiolex. It&#8217;s approved to treat two types of epilepsy.\u00a0CBD\u00a0use also carries some risks.
